Worship Music...Review...and Give Away...and God's peace

It's a Monday as I write this.  I was walking around a few hours ago with groaning in my spirit.   Another Monday.  I DID have presence of mind to stop and pray.  The still small voice of the Holy Spirit said, "put the headphones in your ears and listen to the new Vineyard music you have to review."  WOW!  The difference in how I FELT was almost immediate.   I often times think, "I should turn on some worship music."  But do I?  Not often enough.

The lyrics I am listening to as I write this are:

All who are weak
All who are weary
Come to the rock
Come to the fountain

And as I listened, I was able to ignore the chaos surrounding me.   Instead of reacting, I just DIDN'T react.  (It is all about God here!) And over the next half of an hour the chaos calmed.  I was able to go to the kiddo and just be with him.  And he calmed down.  We moved into reading.  And as I write this (with music in my ears), he is sitting across from me doing MATH. (Some of you know what a miracle that is.)

Fast forward through the week and it turned out to be one of the most difficult of the past few years.  Again I just kept coming to Him... via prayer, the Bible and worship music.  Specifically this CD.  I love Christian music in general and I also like secular hits as well, but music that focuses on Him really helps my Spirit soar.

So on to the review..  I love it.  Here is a bit about the Album I Love Your Presence.

I Love Your Presence was recorded live at the Burn Bright: Worship and The Kingdom Of God conference, hosted by Vineyard Worship. Several hundred worship leaders and worshippers gathered in the Arizona desert to explore the nature of God’s kingdom through music and teaching with some of the Vineyard’s most gifted communicators and musicians. This inspiring collection of songs recorded live at the The Vineyard Church North Phoenix will immerse listeners in the powerful worship that was the highlight of the event. I Love Your Presence reminds us to not just think of worship as singing songs, but also laying down our lives for Him.

It contains some amazing tracks:

  1. Let It Come
  2. Glory To The King
  3. Saving Grace
  4. What Can I Bring
  5. Love Of God
  6. One Thing Remains
  7. Now And Ever
  8. Invitacion Fountain
  9. Sweet Mercies
  10. Isn't He / Amazing Grace
  11. I Love Your Presence
  12. Perfect Sacrifice
  13. I Lift My Eyes Up (Psalm 121)

Lots of places to find these folks and samples of this album can be found there as well.  These include Facebook, their website, that twitter place (which some day I will become part of in a more regular way...) and of course Itunes!

And guess what... they are sponsoring a give-away!  It is in download format but that is the way I received this music and I can  tell you it is super easy to do.  So if you wist to win.. you can enter several ways.
