Today I am thankful for books on CD. I go to the library and browse the CDs. Then I see if they have the book to match. This is wonderful practice for Andrew to listen to other voices. Not to mention that it saves on my voice. In theory, I could be doing the dishes while he is listening but he likes me to sit right there..and that is working right along with our joint attention objective for RDI so that is fine. We are reading Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling and The World According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney. When listening to Humphrey, Andrew asked who was reading the book because he thought it was the same voice as someone who reads books on Between The Lions. I bet that is true!
