2010 Gratitude Challenge - day 2

I know everyone else on this challenge will probably write this today. But still going to do it. I am thankful that even though we have some extreme challenges going on in this country, it is still the best things going on the planet. I am thankful for my right to vote. And that we live in a democracy.

I am grateful for that also, but I thought I would write about something else.

We are blessed to live in a free country. Perfect it is not, but it is still a wonderful place to live.

Yes a bunch of us have written on this very topic but like someone else said, each with their own perspective. I've really enjoyed reading each one and I'm grateful that enough of us think of these things during this all important day.
